Itinerary

DAY 1:- DELHI - LEH

Arrive leh Airport .Meeting & assistance upon arrival thereafter transfer to Hotel. Dayfree for acclimatization.Leh city is the capital of ladakh , at one time was a major stop  on the asian   “Silk Route”. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

DAY 2 :- Leh

After breakfast sight seeing tour of leh Gompa , Sankar gompa , Stok palace museum & explore the leh in the evening. Overnight  at the Hotel.

DAY 3 :- LEH - SHEY - THIKSEY - HEMIS - LEH.

After breakfast visit the  three  must   do  icons of  the Indus valley , the shey , thiksey  & Hemis  monasteries . Return to  Leh in the evening . Overnight at the hotel .

DAY 4 :- LEH - DISKIT – HUNDER

After breakfast check-out  from  hotel  &  drive to Nubra Valley (125 kms./ 06 hrs) via khardoung la  pass the highest motorable  pass in the world (18,300 feet). Enroute visit Diskit  monastery . packed lunch  en-route. Dinner  & overnight stay in camp at hunder.

DAY 5 :- HUNDER – SUMUR

After breakfast  drive to Sumur , visit Sumur monastery .packed lunch en-route . after sight seeing drive back to hunder . Dinner & Overnight  stay in camp at Hunder.

DAY 6 :- HUNDER – LEH.

After breakfast visit hunder monastery & visit Bactrian camels (double humped camels), breeding farm at Diskit .After lunch we will drive  back to leh (120 Kms ./04 hrs) for dinner & overnight   stay  at the  hotel.

DAY 7 :- LEH – TSO – KAR

After  breakfast  drive  to  Tso-Kar (154 Km) via the world second highest motorable road (17,469 ft), Enroute drive pass beautiful villages  of  Rumtse , Gia , meeru. Dinner  &  overnight stay I trekking  tents..

DAY 8 :- TSO – KAR – TSO – MORIRI.

After breakfast  drive to Tso – Moriri  via Sumdo by covering  75 Kms in 3 – 4  hours .Afternoon explore   Korzok: situated  at 15,000 ft (4,572 mt).Visit korzok  monastery with its dimly lit prayer halls. Dinner & overnight stay in fixed camp

DAY 9 :-TSO – MORIRI – LEH

After  breakfast  drive to leh via Sumdo & Chuma - Thang ( 3965 m ) Enroute stop at kahe bridge  from where the road  crosses to the south bank of  the river  by a bridge. Packed  lunch en – route , Drive Past beautiful Villages of   Nurnis, Kery &  Kadgam. The jeep drive through this part of the  Indus valley  is quite flat   without much uphill or downhill drive, a wide    open village . Dinner & overnight in Hotel.

DAY 10 :-LEH – ALCHI / ULETOKPO.

After breakfast in hotel drive to phey. After a 20 min drive to phey monastery on the bank of the scenic Indus river , packed lunch en – route .drive to alchi . dinner & overnight  stay in alchi Resort.

DAY 11 :-ALCHI – LAMAYURU – ALCHI

After breakfast drive to lamayuru monastery . packed lunch will be provided en – route this photogenic monastery is a major  land mark on the old silk route .legend behind this monastery is that lamayuru village was once filled by a lake , which was drained by the sage Naropa , to permit the foundation of the monastery . drive back to alchi for Dinner & overnight  stay alchi resort.

DAY 12 :- ALCHI / ULETOKPO – LEH .

After breakfast drive to leh .en – route visiting the likar & alchi monasteries . packed lunch en  - route . Dinner & overnight stay at hotel .

DAY 13 :- LEH – DELHI.

Early morning transfer to the leh airport for your flight to delhi
